Blut und Kaffee / Blood and Coffee brings together local and international artists working across disability, illness, embodiment and disembodiment. Through diverse media approaches – from photography and sculpture to painting and performance – the exhibition explores language, citation, reference and access as forms of crip relation, tracing how artists echo, honour and carry one another’s practices across time and space. Ghosts, hauntings and material traces run through the works, alongside stuttering, fragmentation, disappearance, translation and misunderstanding. The exhibition makes space for crip time, protest, sadness and dark humour, bringing different histories, contexts and networks into relation.
Access materials for the exhibition will be provided.
The exhibition space has step-free access via the back door and lift, and the exhibition itself is step-free. Access information here
